Hello,

a bit about me

My name is Chuck Gonzales, I am an illustrator working and living in both Providence Rhode Island, and Brooklyn New York.

I work in the adult and the children’s sectors, internationally in editorial and advertising. and I enjoy doing likenesses, my clients include:

The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, MetLife, ESPN magazine and animation, Fortune, Entertainment Weekly, New York Magazine. In the children’s sector, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Jack and Jill, and Humpty Dumpty. I have illustrated many books, book series, and book covers for clients such as Chronicle, Harper Collins, Penguin, Scholastic, and Benchmark Publishing. I designed the look and characters for an animation pilot for Nick Jr. called SWOOSH.

I recently wrote and illustrated a 200 page semi-autobiographical graphic novel for Reycraft Books, titled “Carlos Gomez Freestyles…Heavy On The Style!”
